I am a retired New York State Middle School/High School English teacher. I taught 7-12 English and enjoyed my years in the classroom. After a successful teaching career, I was employed by the New York State United Teachers, the largest labor union in New York State, as a Labor Relations Specialist. As an LRS, it was my job to bargain employee contracts, develop contract language, arbitrate labor grievances, and write legal briefs. I have extensive experience in editing and interpreting contract language.
