I love working with non-native speakers. I have worked with people who want to improve their pronunciation skills for work and young students who want to speak English more confidently with their friends.

I first assess and work to improve the individual sounds that are difficult for the student to pronounce. I then teach the stress, emphasis and reductions that form the melody and rhythm of English. The...

I love working with non-native speakers. I have worked with people who want to improve their pronunciation skills for work and young students who want to speak English more confidently with their friends.

I first assess and work to improve the individual sounds that are difficult for the student to pronounce. I then teach the stress, emphasis and reductions that form the melody and rhythm of English. The goal is to help my students understand spoken American English and learn to speak more confidently, so they can improve their everyday conversations with co-workers and friends. I also work with people who want to improve their Business English, so they can be more successful at work. My lessons are individualized to each student's needs.

I have my Masters in Teaching Secondary English and a TESOL certification. I previously taught English for an international school and have been tutoring ESOL students for ten years.

She is a great teacher because she made feel that I can really do this! gave me confidence and the desire to keep learning better pronunciation. Lots of experience with foreign speaking students . First lesson was mainly an assessment so she can concentrate in the areas where I need more help. I can't wait for my next lesson!.
