I began my teaching career in 2001 at the age of 27 after serving as a Police Officer for five years. I returned to the university where I played football, and completed my requirements in order to earn a Teaching License. I then taught in the city of Memphis for five years, where I earned a Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching. I taught United States History for five years at Cordova High School while coaching football and track. I became a Master Teacher in Memphis, then relocated to the Kansas City area where I taught 9th Grade World History for the Olathe School District.
I returned to the Law Enforcement Profession after teaching in the Kansas City area for 2 years. I became a Master Police Officer for the City of Lenexa, and served there for six years before returning to Northwest Arkansas in December, 2014. I now have a Arkansas Teaching License, and am currently looking for full time employment.
Thank You,
