I am a 14 year elementary educator with a bachelors degree in elementary education and a masters degree as a literacy specialist. Following my classroom teaching years in 3rd, 4th, 2nd, and 1st grades, I am currently a Literacy Interventionist with K-2nd grades (teaching small groups of students with a multi-sensory phonics focus). I am trained in Orton-Gillingham and LETRS and tend to follow methods and approaches that suit the individual child.

I have three children of my own, with my husband, and our chickens and outdoor cat. I am passionate about learning, growing, and building a love for reading. I love picture books, especially the smell of a brand new one.
