Hello I'm Matt! I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, and a Master's degree in Ministry with a Youth Concentration from Indiana Wesleyan University. While in college I had already made the decision that I wanted to help students in life in different capacities. I found that I came to appreciate the professors more than some of the classes because of the interest they took in me to help me succeed. They were always very engaging and helpful in person and just as much via online. I try to bring this same level of attention, dedication, and interest to my tutoring approach, and to do everything I can to make learning a pleasant experience for you. I will work with you to create a lesson plan that works for you, and I will introduce the topic in a way that make sense. I have learned over time that I have to find the best way for you to learn and that is what I will do to help you succeed just as my professors did for me. I retired from Emergency Medical Services after 25+ years being an Advanced EMT, Primary Instructor, Field Training Officer, Field Supervisor, and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Instructor. I have been a High School teacher for 5 years now and have been tutoring students for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Services exam along with many other certifications. I work directly with students in grades 9-12 in Health Science, Medical Terminology, Clinical Certified Medical Assisting, Pharmacology, Anatomy and Physiology, and National Registry EMT. I focus on small group settings in my classroom so I can be more effect and available to each student when they need extra help.
