Hi, I’m Rebecca! I am a NYS certified Family & Consumer Sciences educator. I tutor students in subject like career development, writing, and studying skills. I graduated magna cum laude from Hofstra University with a 4.0 GPA. I have a passion for education and helping all students, no matter what age, grow and succeed in all they wish to accomplish.

As an educator, I am well versed in all areas of writing and have vast experience in aiding students develop or strengthen their writing skills.

As a family & consumer sciences educator, I am certified and trained in helping students discover possible career paths, explore components of different careers, and plan for their future.

As a teacher and someone who has completed a masters degree, I have perfected the art of studying. I was not typically a “good” student myself growing up, and had to learn and develop study skills in order to succeed. I now am able to pass these skills on to my students. I have various tactics that I employ no matter what type of learner you are to ensure success.
