My name is Tiara. I have been tutoring children in grades K-12 for over 10 years. I was a building substitute for k-6 for 2 years. I am now a secondary science teacher. I teach Biology, Chemistry and FUSE. I teach children who are ML students and speak very little English. Teaching ML students has allowed me to broaden my teaching skills. I also teach children with learning disabilities, as well as cognitive disabilities.

I am a Mom to 5 amazing kids and my oldest is disabled. I fell in love with teaching because of him. I was able to see firsthand the need for teachers who can think outside of the box, have compassion and patience. This is why I pursued my Bachelor's degree in Psychology as well. I wanted to be able to better understand children and young adults mentally and emotionally as well. I would love the opportunity to assist you in your journey.
