Hey there! My name is Joel, and I have been teaching the LSAT for over four years. I originally took the LSAT in 2019, and I scored a 174 (99th percentile). Hey there! My name is Joel, and I have been teaching the LSAT for over four years. I originally took the LSAT in 2019, and I scored a 174 (99th percentile). Since then I have spent thousands of hours teaching the LSAT, both in private tutoring and classroom settings. I like to use an interactive approach to teaching, ensuring that my students are active participants in the learning process. Through my sense of humor and ability to show how many concepts on the LSAT relate to real-world scenarios, I have a unique ability to make the process of studying for the LSAT fun and engaging!
All students are different, so using the same approach and teaching style for every student simply does not cut it for me. Over the past four years I have learned how to adapt my teaching style to the individual that I am working with, no matter their age or learning style. This is what makes working with me unique: I have many ways to explain the different concepts on the LSAT, and I adapt my approach to the client that I am working with. Moreover, I take the success of my students personally. I will not simply forget about you in between our tutoring sessions. I am constantly thinking about how I can best help my clients to achieve the highest possible LSAT score that they can get.
I graduated from the College of Charleston in 2018, where I studied philosophy and political science. Charleston is a wonderful city, but after college I decided that it was too far from the mountains for my taste. Since 2019 I have lived in and around Denver, CO, where I have been pursuing my passions of rock climbing and snowboarding! When I'm not teaching the LSAT, you will often catch me outside working on my latest climbing project!
I am super excited for the opportunity to work together. If you think that we would be a good fit, send me a message and let's get you on track to achieve the LSAT score of your dreams!
