Hello! My name is Theresa, and I am a 5th Grade educator who is certified in Early Childhood Development (0 - 3 years old) as well as Elementary Education (grade levels K - 6). Moreover, I have over 20 years of experience with instructing students diagnosed with Special Needs in multiple school districts, in both large-group and individual instruction settings.

Having taught and interned in the top 5 school districts within Saint Louis County, I possess extensive experience in many of Missouri's most rigorous curriculum, such as Balance Literacy, Lucy Calkins: Readers' and Writers' Workshop Curriculum, and Math in Focus. Additionally, I am highly proficient in employing individualized strategies in addition to personalized intervention and differential models.

My services are tailored toward families with elementary and middle school students who are in need of academic support and/or academic reinforcement! I offer both one-on-one tutoring ($35/hr) as well as small group sessions ($30/hr for each student), and I am willing to instruct students in their homes or local libraries.

My interest in tutoring is based on my personal philosophy that learning and education is a life-long journey and that knowledge acquisition goes beyond the confines of the classroom; it is something that requires engagement with the world. As a teacher, I am committed to motivating students to be more confident in their abilities and their learning habits.

If you have any questions about my services, then please message me today!
