I cannot stress enough how pumped I am about science and how much I enjoy getting other people to also be pumped! I've taught biology and psychology formally at the undergraduate level for over 7 years, and I've been informally engaging kids of all ages in all sorts of natural science at 3 different AZA accredited zoos since 2008. I hold a BS in Zoology, a MA in Zoology/ Ecology, a MA in Psychology, and I am currently finishing my PhD in Psychology/ Neuroscience.

As a proofreader and editor, my attention to detail goes beyond pedantic. My background in classical Latin was particularly rigorous regarding grammar, syntax, and semantics, so when it comes to writing, I believe rules were made to be followed. But on occasion, they were made to be broken. I have a natural talent for concise prose composition, and a flair for poetic and dramatic imagery. I have submitted and published a few articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, as well as assisted in the editing of other researchers' submissions. I also have a background in theatre arts, so I am fond of creative writing and poetry.
