Hello, my name is Alisha, and I am an experienced tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals! I attended Portland State University, where I double majored in Biology and Public Health. During my time at PSU, I was dedicated to my studies and maintained a perfect GPA of 4.0. I also scored in the 95th percentile on my MCAT exam, which set me up for a successful medical school application cycle.

This fall, I will be attending Harvard Medical School, an opportunity that I am incredibly grateful for. I applied to medical school this past cycle and received 29 interview invitations, attended 24 interviews, and received 20 acceptances, including 4 full-tuition merit scholarships. It was a challenging and competitive process, but I am honored to have been accepted to such a prestigious institution. Now, I would like to help you accomplish the same!

I have 5 years of experience as a college-level writing tutor, and I have helped many students improve their writing skills and develop their academic abilities. Additionally, I have multiple years of experience with application and scholarship essays, and I have advised dozens of applicants on the medical school application process. Lastly, I have also tutored dozens of students in a variety of academic subjects such as biology, biochemistry, physiology, psychology, and MCAT tutoring.
