I am a seasoned chemistry instructor with 18 years of teaching experience. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the esteemed Beijing Normal University in China and later received my Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Pennsylvania State University.
For 17 years, I served as a cherished chemistry lecturer at a four-year college, where my dedication earned me recognition and, in May 2016, the Teaching Excellence Award. In August 2021, I demonstrated my proficiency with a remarkable score of 197 out of 200 on the Praxis II chemistry content test.
Following this success, I obtained my teaching certificate and made a fulfilling transition in March 2022 to the role of a high school chemistry teacher. In July 2023, I proudly became a certified AP Chemistry teacher, currently teaching both AP and honors chemistry classes. Additionally, I contribute as an AP Chemistry Reader (grader) for ETS.
Beyond the traditional classroom, I've dedicated over a year to being an online tutor for PrepNow, where I've had the privilege of tutoring students in AP Chemistry and college-level General Chemistry.
Working with bright young minds is my passion, and I am genuinely enthusiastic about aiding my students in mastering complex topics. I strive to create an environment where learning is not just about acquiring knowledge but also exploring innovative ways to enhance their educational journey.
