Hello! I'm currently a recent UTSA graduate, with a B.S. in Biology and a concentration in Pre-Medical Sciences. I've occasionally tutored during high school in Algebra and Chemistry subjects, and since then, have picked up roles of mentorship (e.g. Science Mentor, Resident Assistant) that have allowed me to develop meaningful 1-on-1 relationships with a variety of fellow students. Additionally, as a result of these roles, I've been able to help other students understand how to approach academic and non-academic problems, as well as reference and create resources to help them when possible. By tutoring, I hope to bridge the avenues of curiosity and compassion, meeting any student where they're at and helping them come into their own, whether as a scholar or otherwise!
Through maintaining a 3.9 GPA throughout college and applying these concepts to higher-order thinking (ex. scoring top 10% of test-takers on the MCAT), I've consistently shown not only a mastery of topics, but a willingness to learn when things get tough. As such, I am always open to any feedback or resources that you may provide - feel free to contact me!
