My 17 year old could not say enough good things...

My junior has been struggling horribly this year in Spanish 3 and has tried several in-person and online tutors, and I hoped each time that it would be helpful. We agreed to give it one last go and connected with Lori. He was raving afterward about how good Lori is at teaching and conveying the material. From a teenager who is reticent to share this info, I can endorse Lori at the highest level. My son says he understood difficult conjugations and felt far more prepared for his quiz, in lieu of dreading another attempt at the material he had not been able to grasp. We are so grateful and plan to engage with Lori through the duration of Spanish 3.

Lori B has been nothing short of a blessing to our son. She is professional, accommodating , and has outstanding qualities of a good teacher. She listens intently, understands the problem and has a tremendous gift of articulating a concept . She is clear, concise and has a very sweet demeanor. Never to "old" to learn ...

It's pretty easy to assume "Your Spanish" you must speak and trill r's perfectly! Well, that's not so the case. Growing up, it was not spoken in my household. Something I wanted to do before the big 40 birthday is to be confident enough to speak Spanish with my family/friends, travel, and not be insecure about it. In my first month with lessons with Lori, she has made each session comfortable, fun, and lots of laughs, and before I knew it, the session was over. Fastest hour of my day! I feel more comfortable speaking as we have more lessons, and I don't worry about mispronouncing words. She guides me through breaking down the words and doesn't assumes I know something because of my heritage. I wished I had met her years ago; she had made learning Spanish fun, easy, and so understanding. I highly recommend working with Lori.

As we moved from another state, and this state requires 2 years of language to graduate high school. My son had to cramp up 2 years of Spanish within a year. He did Spanish 1 in the summer and took Spanish 2 in his final year. We were looking for someone to keep him motivated, and she did that. If you are looking for a Spanish teacher, do not look for more. She would be perfect.

Revised review great start then never showed up

I first wrote a positive review because Lori started of great, flexible and helpful. After 3 sessions she wasn’t attending the lessons at the set time. The first time I didn’t mind she thought we were on holiday. So we agreed on continuing the week after and guess what, my son was waiting and she never showed up. I messaged her, no response. I don’t know what to do now because there is no response to any of my messages. I guess I’m going tp have to find another solution.

Very flexible and helpful

I contacted Lori for my son after the school couldn't find a Spanish 2 teacher for over 3 months. Lori was very flexible and helpful and he could start almost immediately. Because we didn't have a workbook Lori is very helpful in coming up with ideas herself to help him get the Spanish he needs.
