Hello! My name is Anna and I am currently a fourth year college student at the world renowned Eastman School of Music. I play viola but have experience in piano and violin. I have been doing music since I was in second grade and went to a performing arts boarding school for high school. I can help you with basic music terms, music theory, music history, or instruments.

Music can sometimes be tricky but I often find that students can thrive with the right help. I am eager to help students become the best they can. I love teaching because I love seeing students improve and start to believe themselves in subjects.

I have been playing a musical instrument since second grade, starting with piano. I started playing viola in fourth grade and have been with it ever since. I started learning music theory and music history in high school. The Eastman School of Music is one of the best theory programs in the country and performance majors also become adamant in theory. In college I started learning fixed solfege. I have learned about music history from the pre-Baroque era to the present time.
