I attended Rutgers University and graduated in 2020 with a 3.9 GPA as a cell biology and neuroscience major with a minor in psychology. My classes were heavily biology dependent and I feel passionate about this subject. I helped several students in my residence hall do well in their biology courses.
Throughout college I also learned that there is more to studying than just reading the textbook and notes. I dedicated a lot of my time to alternative methods that are better for memorizing information. These include the use of mnemonics, spaced repetition flashcards, and self-made practice tests. This is what sets me apart from other tutors and will benefit you. I will spend time coming up with a study plan that works for you and not just spend all the time going over the information in a format that is not working for you. I am passionate about this because when I started my college journey I got one C in a class. I researched how to become better at studying and learning information and since then I never received below an A in any of my classes. I hope that you choose me to become your tutor so that I can show you how easy it can be to learn biology!
