I completed my undergraduate degree in Education (Science) majoring in chemistry and mathematics. After graduation, I taught high school for about three years. My passion for teaching sciences was inspired by the academic success of my students. I later earned a master’s degree in analytical chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Kentucky. During my time in graduate school, I nurtured my passion for teaching and tutoring students while teaching general chemistry and organic chemistry laboratories. The passion for teaching and tutoring students struggling with chemistry at both high school and college level has remained with me to this day. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer and spending time with my family.
