I am a non-practicing attorney licensed in New York who fell in love with tutoring and made it into a full-time career. I started about thirteen years ago with a major test prep company as a classroom instructor and tutor. I also developed strategies and curriculum that the company still uses today, and I was a primary instructor for the initial rollout of their online platform. Over the years, I have developed a set of skills that make the online experience largely indistinguishable from in-person tutoring.

For the past ten years, I have been running my own personal tutoring business, mainly through word of mouth from satisfied students. Recently, I have heard very positive things about the Wyzant platform, and for this reason I am temporarily offering a reduced online rate, relative to my experience and quality. My tutoring style is focused on the reduction of test anxiety. The best way to succeed on these exams is to have a complete understanding of what sorts of questions you will encounter, and to have an easily-recallable strategy for all of them. I have worked with hundreds of students, for thousands of hours, and this experience allows me to tailor our sessions to focus on reinforcing your strengths and addressing your weaknesses. I also have considerable experience working with students who have special needs and/or require accommodations.

I do not teach any exam in which I have not personally scored in the 99th percentile under timed conditions. It is likely that I will know why you missed a question before you tell me what you have done wrong.
