Hi!
I'm Aditya and I'm currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh (originally from the Northern Virginia region). Currently, as a student who is taking math courses such as financial accounting and quantitative methods in college as well as up to BC Calculus in high school, I have been involved in math throughout all my years in school. Outside of school, my hobbies include playing and watching sports such as basketball and cricket, reading, or learning about the world around me.
I specialize in tutoring elementary and middle school children in a variety of subjects such as math and reading. My experience includes over 5 years of tutoring children from Kindergarten through 8th grade through various methods and tactics (which I will detail below). My passion for helping tutor children led me to join an organization called GIVE, which provides tutoring to underprivileged children across the Northern Virginia area. Ever since I started tutoring there from just a tutor I was able to work my way up to becoming a center manager for my local GIVE center and currently I serve as an executive director for the organization overseeing all the various parts of the organization. I've always been enthusiastic about math but more importantly, I have also been involved in tutoring over 50 elementary and middle school students through GIVE through innovative and creative ways for them to understand concepts. However, despite being an executive director I make an effort to try and go every weekend to my local GIVE center and help those that need help. Aside from tutoring younger children, I've also worked in old age homes and in the library to assist senior citizens in understanding modern technologies such as making a Facebook account or sending an email. Helping others has always been something I've been passionate about and I love working with younger children especially!
Aside from my experience, however, I would also like to elaborate more on my teaching style and how I would approach helping your child if given
