Hi, I'm Serge! I attended Bergen County Academies, one of the premier high schools in New Jersey, and graduated with honors from Rutgers Business School. I've always been good with numbers and passionate about helping others, so tutoring is right up my alley!

As an undergrad, I helped tutor my peers in math and psychology, the latter selected by my professor to host an official tutoring session for exam prep. During my senior year, I taught a class of first-year college students about business fundamentals and marketing, as well as help them adjust to college life. More recently, I've been tutoring a friend in her college Algebra 2 courses. I firmly believe that anybody can learn math, it just requires practice and patience. My approach is to introduce topics in a way that I believe is simple to understand and follow that up with examples and practice problems.

I'm a strong math tutor because of my ability to communicate mathematical concepts in a simple and concise manner. I also like to approach things from different angles; I understand that different students may learn in different ways and there isn't a singular best approach.
