Hey there! My name is Belissa and I enjoy tutoring others in Spanish! Growing up I spoke Spanish with my family, but I also spoke it in school as my language requirement. I ended up taking AP Spanish Literature and AP Spanish Language in high school and received a grade of 5 on both exams because of my teacher's patience with me, now I would love to return the favor!

I understand that writing and speaking Spanish can be two different challenging tasks. Due to my personal experience with this, I am able to help others. I have experience teaching adults, high school students and even college students. In addition, I've also tutored native Spanish speakers. I make sure to emphasize that there should never be any shame in wanting to keep on improving your Spanish. We are all constantly learning and so am I!

In the summer of my sophomore year at college, I tutored Spanish at Dartmouth College as part of the Rassias Program where I taught doctors. In my junior and senior year of college as part of my work-study, I served as a Spanish conversation partner.
