Hi, I'm Ben! I've been teaching drums for 16 years. What I love about teaching is being able to share my knowledge and help students achieve their drumming and music goals! Many of my students have gone on to study music in the University and have gone on to have careers in music, whether performing or teaching.
My performing experience includes touring the U.S. with the funk/soul band "The Nightowls" and touring Europe with Scott Bradlee's "Postmodern Jukebox on Deck". I've worked with many artists in a variety of different genres including Michael Lee (The Voice Finalist), Iris Kroes (The Voice Winner), and Jaron Marshall (The Black Pumas). I’ve also performed at the SXSW Festival with the NYC based electronic group, “Grumby” and singer/songwriter Tje Austin (The Voice).
I love sharing with students the lessons I've learned through my performing and touring experiences. Music has provided me with many great opportunities. I hope my journey and life inspires you to go for your own dreams in life.
I have been playing the drums for 20 years now. I also have a background in Drum Corps so I love teaching hand techniques to students.
