About Leigh Ann

Bio

I believe that I can help every student master math concepts. I have 30+ years of experience in math education and have worked with students of all abilities. I have taught middle school and high school mathematics. I have taught both accelerated students and students that struggle (and students in between). Additionally, I have worked with aspiring teachers preparing to take the PRAXIS.

Then I will help make connections to what the teacher is saying. Understanding and building confidence is my goal. She's a great tutor, very patient and good at making math more real and hands on, which is especially important since I'm taking an online class. She used to teach so she knows how to explain things in several different ways!
