I have been teaching Physics and Computer Science for the past 12 years. I began as a Computer Science major before deciding to change careers into teaching physics. I studied both Physics and CS at UMBC and have taught in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. I have taught Computer Science at every level from elementary school to college lecturing.
I specifically specialize in AP CSA and AP CSP.

Knowledgeable and incredibly helpful
Matthew helped my son review for AP Computer Science. My son has a very weak teacher and he was feeling lost. Matthew got him caught up and completely prepared for the class. He is a GREAT!!! teacher!

Consistent, Quality Help for AP Comp Sci
Another great tutoring session with Matthew for our daughter. Matthew helped our 16 year old with an AP Comp Sci exercise that she had been struggling with for several weeks. He obtained her material before hand, reviewed it and was able to use his time with her very effectively. Afterwards, she commented that she felt much more confident about how to approach these problems in the future. We will continue to use Matthew for our AP Comp Sci needs. Very helpful. Awesome tutor!
We reached out late on a Sunday night for help, Matthew e-mailed us back promptly. Within 15 mins he was working with my daughter on her AP Comp Sci program due on Monday morning and had her on her way. Now that we have found him, we will use him often. Thanks for the last minute help Matthew--we really appreciate it!
