I am applying for an elementary-level tutoring role. I graduated from A&M-Commerce in 2012 with my B.S. in Elementary Education, and in 2017, my M.S. in Educational Leadership- Educational Technology. My certifications include EC-6 Generalist, ESL and EC-12 Special Education. I believe my teaching experience and passion for my student’s success makes me an excellent candidate.

I have experience teaching elementary-level students in a variety of settings. I am currently an upper elementary special education resource teacher in Kaufman ISD at Monday Elementary. I have spent the last 5 years in Forney ISD at Criswell Elementary. This is where I taught 5th Grade Science, 3rd Grade Math/Science, Virtual Self-contained 3rd Grade and 3rd Grade Science/Reading Intervention. The 5 years prior to Forney, I taught 5 years in 2nd,3rd and 5th grades at Hanby Elementary in Mesquite ISD.

After 10+ years of teaching, I can sum up my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students’ interest in technology and instilling a sense of self-esteem among all students. I loved school and everything it had to offer and want to foster this love of learning in my students.

It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to my community.
