I love helping people learn how to effectively communicate in a variety of formats. Effective communication is the key to success in any situation. I have over twenty years of classroom experience and most recently have moved in to the position of Instructional Coach in a high school setting, where I provide support to both teachers and students.
I love tutoring because a comfortable one-to-one setting allows much more accessibility to learning for students and I can really get to know the needs of the individual, which in turn helps me to determine the best way to deliver the content.

I have an extensive background in teaching English at all grade levels 7-12 as well as a background in special education which has only strengthened my practice. Within teaching English, I have taught units on Public Speaking, taught an extensive cannon of literature, worked with large & small groups of students on targeted reading instruction and writing.

It is my belief that we learn to liberate ourselves. Education is our way out of any less than desirable situation and is should not be a stressful situation. Learning can and should be fun! Give me a shot and I can help you liberate yourself and move forward.
