My name is Micaela B. and I am a Spanish teacher. I have a B.A in Spanish and Teacher Education from Wellesley College and a M.A in Spanish with a focus in Pedagogy from Middlebury College. I hold a professional teaching license from the state of Massachusetts for Spanish Grades 5-12. My focus is middle school Spanish, but I have worked with high school students as well. My name is Micaela B. and I am a Spanish teacher. I have a B.A in Spanish and Teacher Education from Wellesley College and a M.A in Spanish with a focus in Pedagogy from Middlebury College. I hold a professional teaching license from the state of Massachusetts for Spanish Grades 5-12. My focus is middle school Spanish, but I have worked with high school students as well. I have 7 year of Spanish classroom experience - 2 years teaching grades 6-8 in the Somerville Public Schools and 5 years in the Braintree Public Schools teaching grade 8. Because of the pandemic I also have experience with online teaching using Google Meet.

I am currently taking some time away from the classroom to stay home and take care of my son, so I have flexible hours and can work with you to meet your schedule needs. I look forward to helping you improve your Spanish!

Micaela is very helpful with my daughter’s Spanish and Science vocabulary today. My daughter usually does not like in- person tutor class but speaks highly about her.
