I am using the Communicative language teaching method. My students learn and practice French through the interaction with me. My goal is to enable my students to communicate effectively and appropriately in the various situations they would likely find themselves in.

I also teach to small groups of children. Small children learn best when they are in a small class of 2 to 4 children. They can practice what they have learned by interacting with one another. They can also motivate each others to work harder. The emphasis is to give them confidence and to enable them to master the basic conversational skills such as describing, explaining, questioning, etc.…

I was born and raised in Normandie, a north western region of France. I graduated from Universite de Caen Normandie in Adult Vocational Training. I spent 14 years teaching French to foreign students and six years as an educator at the French school for children with disabilities and violent disorders. I am currently teaching at a French immersion school in Austin, Texas.
