Aleksej helped tutor me for my AP Calculus BC course, and helped raise my grade and understanding about calculus. I enjoyed working with him because he was always available to explain complex concepts in an easy to understand manner and he went above and beyond through giving me extra practice problems after lessons. It’s been really interesting getting to learn about math in a new way. The concepts that I have learned helped me find a new approach to life with a new logical outlook. Aleksej's help made me realize the benefit of working and reworking problems even if they are long, tedious or take multiple walls of space. Most of all I've learned persistence by working through countless example problems. Excellent German Tutor

Very flexible with my schedule and easy to plan lessons. After several German lessons I feel that I have progressed in the language far better than I would have using just an online platform or taking a typical German class. Having already learned a second language and knowing what that process is like I feel that his teaching style is very practical for those who are interested in learning the language well. Practicing actual conversations, pronunciation, and verb conjugations was common and very useful. Also, he often supplemented the lesson with other useful vocabulary or conversational topics and encouraged daily study. Very satisfied with the instruction that I received and really enjoyed the lessons.

We met at the physics and astronomy building and had our session. Aleks, was really prepared to begin right away. He explained everything clearly, and patiently and I was able to demonstrate the understanding after our discussions. It does not take long for him to explain things right away and for me to start practicing and getting problems right. Aleks explains the nuances of my lack of knowledge like the relationship between thread density and pitch which was on the test had to take later! I'm more competent and smarter and my grades are a reflection of his help with our continuing sessions. He makes me more comfortable with this difficult subject matter.
