My name is Ljiljana and I am a math professor with an extensive teaching/tutoring experience.
I explore different teaching methods to help my students succeed in math and school in general. My tutoring lately is focused on SAT preparation, and pre-calculus classes, however I am open to all math levels tutoring.
I consider myself an excellent educator and a very good mentor who is hard working, but also funny, friendly and easy to get along with.

I started as a graduate student while attending UCLA to support my budget but after a while I understood how much this job can be rewarding and exciting. When my students succeed, it is also my success and I am very proud of my student's achievements. For me the most challenging thing is to explain the importance of math in everyday's life and how much we use it on a daily basis. Once student understands that, math learning process becomes much more interesting and gaining new skills, more fun.

Algebra 2 as a subject is the cornerstone for any student who wants to move on to a Precalculus and Calculus level. With the degree in Physical Sciences, I have been implementing algebra in my daily work for over 30 years. I really enjoy algebra 2 tutoring because it is dynamic and engaging.

I am qualified to tutor Precalculus based on my education (Master in space Physics) and years of experience. It is my favorite subject because it is interesting and requires a excellent math and problem solving skills. I think this is the math level every high-school student should achieve.
