I was a TA during my early undergraduate studies and spent most of my work hours correcting homework and helping students. I took French all four years of high school and then for a semester in college and I worked for the World Language's department at my first university, specializing in French. My main responsibilities were correcting French homework and helping students practice their skills through conversation.
I took advanced courses in English all through high school as well as an extra year of English instead of other electives. In college, I have taken over 18 credits of English courses. I have never gotten less than an A- in an English class and it has been one of my favorite subjects for as long as I can remember.
My Bachelor's degree is in Drama and I have a healthy passion for all aspects of theatre, especially design and acting. Earning a degree in this field gave me the ability to find innovative approaches to all aspects of learning, not just those involved with theatre.
I'm honestly a nerd and I genuinely enjoy the subjects I'm offering to teach. Helping students get on friendlier terms with their studies is incredibly rewarding for me and I look forward to working with you or your child.
