I have a bachelor's in accounting. Math was my first love as a student. I went as high as pre-calculus in high school. Algebra was my favorite. I like helping people with math any chance I can get know.
English is my strength. I had an outstanding grammar teacher in high school, who helped me later to earn A's on college papers. As a speech-language pathologist now, I teach grammar and vocabulary every day. I would enjoy going more in depth to help students with writing as well. I can give examples to bring words to life and help kids make connections with previous knowledge. I always try to give just enough support, so that students can figure out a little more on their own each try. I included Bible Studies under my subjects because I study the Bible weekly as a Christian, and I have taken college courses on the Old and New Testaments.
