Hi! My name is Jeff Young! I'm very passionate about the English language, and the way in which we communicate to one another. I spent time in Cambodia teaching English, Math, and the Bible to children and young adults who had little to no experience in the English language. In high school, I received an award for an essay I had written on the topic of human trafficking. During college, two of my poems were published in an annual college magazine. I've spent years tutoring for the county and city school systems on various topics including math, science, and English. I've spent a considerable amount of time public speaking, whether it be about my faith or building social awareness on humanitarian issues. I personally value promoting creativity, initiative, and innovation in the learning process. A child's mind is impressionable and valuable, and should be nurtured accordingly. Although a good deal of my experience has been with children, I'm also very comfortable tutoring adults of all ages. I love communicating and connecting with people of all ages. I look forward to working with you to reach a higher level of learning!
