I’m Amir! I graduated as a physics major from the prestigious Imperial College London. I then obtained a Masters degree in Physics at Tufts University, specializing in cosmology. While at Tufts, I enjoyed my time as a physics teaching assistant and lab instructor. It was great to see those “ah ha” moments with the students. I taught undergraduate physics courses at Tufts for several years. During this time I tutored students when I was not teaching a course. I helped introduce an approach to teaching where some time was spent on introducing the topic, but a lot of time was spent engaging with problems and then working on them together with guidance from the instructor. This way I was able to identify student misconceptions early on and help the student to adjust their cognition.
I want to be able to help students identify and set their goals. And then create a plan that can help the student reach those goals. I am always open to feedback and any materials or suggestions from students or parents are welcome. I am easy to reach and will provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
