Good Day and welcome to BE Smart. I began working with children in 1998 guiding field trips through a local children's museum and decided to pursue a teaching career. 2002 USF graduate and certified teacher thereafter. I am certified grades K-6, Reading K-12, and English Language Learners Endorsed. My passion for teaching started in 2003 when I began my career at an inner city Pinellas County Florida school. There I was one of the highest ranked and respected teachers. In 2013, I left the public sector to have two children. In 2014, I established an independent tutoring and private teaching business Be Smart Tutoring School. I currently tutor, teach private homeschool, and have a preschool in St Petersburg. Currently, I work with students in preK-grade 10. My favorite subjects are the biological sciences, reading, and writing. I have vast experience teaching the emergent reader and writer.
I enjoy singing, creating art of any kind, interior design, fashion, cooking, and dancing.

I train parents in the new Common Core standards and how to help their children. I am an educational consultant. I am available for anything you want your child to improve on including test prep and essay writing.

I have an excellent education with strong subject knowledge. I began honors classes in middle school and continued them through college. My education has been science, literature, and humanities heavy. I read daily both fiction and non.

I am a young, enthusiastic, cool person, who will bring learning to life in a fun way!
