You know how people use a personal trainer to strengthen their muscles and get them in shape? Well, I'm like a personal trainer for your voice and your acting. I'm a Tony nominated writer and actress with Broadway credits Including "Annie" and "1776". Off Broadway credits include my own musical. I am a guest lecturer at N.Y.U. in the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and have been teaching young and adult actors and singers for over fifteen years. I studied acting with Sanford Meisner in NYC, the Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna Austria, and have a BA in Acting from the University of Kansas and an MFA in writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Former acting students of mine have appeared on Thirty Rock, Gilmore Girls, Law and Order, and others.

I also have had fifteen years of experience as a college audition coach, having coached students into NYU, Emerson, Carnegie Mellon, American Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, Mullenburg, SUNY Purchase, and others. I will help pick your material, improve your vocal technique, and coach your song and or monologue beat by beat until you are connected not only to the music, but to the text as well.
