Having traveled around the world, I was born in Cairo, Egypt and has lived there for almost 15 years. During that time when I was in Egypt, I was an elite gymnast, the youngest at age 7 to make the Egyptian National team. I traveled to practice with the Ukrainian and Romanian national teams for two summers. Starting high school, I began to play multiple sports and connecting more with my father since he was a basketball coach. Majoring in computer engineering and loving math, my dad always taught me life aspects by relating it to numbers and math. That was how he got me interested in playing basketball. A year into my basketball career, my family moved to Coppell, TX with the intention of learning Western cultures and noticing the differences. I played basketball in the States for three years and at the same time; I would visit Egypt every Summer to play with the National team and represent Egypt in FIBA competitions. During my spare time, I would help my dad with his basketball classes and connecting with children from ages 4 to 16. Later, I had the most incredible opportunity to play NCAA Division I basketball at Rice University and pursue my passion of math, physics, and understanding how the world works by studying electrical engineering and business. In the future, I would like to influence as many people as possible whether by actually teaching them or just by being an example that they could look up to.
Majored in electrical and computer engineering which requires a lot of long derivations.
Played NCAA Division I at Rice University. Participated in many FIBA competitions as a player for the Egyptian national team. Was part of the U17 Egyptian national team staff in 2014
