Bio

I have graduated from Jacksonville University with two Bachelor of Science degrees: one in mathematics and one in physics at Jacksonville University (JU). I have always been passionate about how mathematics and physics are used to answer some of the most known questions. In addition, I am passionate and show a positive attitude towards opportunities that would help me grow along with my interests in mathematics and physics.

I have always been passionate about how mathematics and physics are used to answer some of the most known questions. In addition, I am passionate and show a positive attitude towards opportunities that would help me grow along with my interests in mathematics and physics.

When I arrived at JU on August 2010, I was not sure of my goals for college. However, I have always remembered that I was always good in mathematics. Then, I saw how physics apply to just about everything concerning mathematics. As a result, I made the decision to double major in mathematics and physics.Since graduating on May 2014, I have been offering my services as an online tutor in Mathematics and Physics. I have taught hundreds of lessons in Statistics, Calculus, Physics, Differential Equations, and Finance. In addition, I have been a Substitute Teacher in Broward Country, thus gaining some insight on day-to-day educational techniques.
What I love about tutoring students is that I get to know the students very well while helping them with the skills necessary to excel in their courses.

As an MBA graduate, I have been exposed to different types of data analysis. One of the more common difficult courses that I've seen are Quantitative Analysis (with a focus on Linear Programming and Quantitative Analysis) and Operations Management. As such, I utilize Excel and handwork to help students understand the mathematics behind business decisions.

As a tutor that primarily focuses on Statistics, I believe it is important to be able to utilize statistical tools to help us interpret results. Having been self-taught through mainly YouTube videos, I have helped several students using SPSS with the topics including but not limited to: ANOVA, Independent T-Test, Linear Regression.

Smart, patient, efficient, one of the best!

Shameer has been tutoring me through a Statistics class I'm taking, covering Hypothesis Testing and related topics. Like many of you, I've worked with multiple different tutors and they've all had varying degrees of pro's and con's to their methods of teaching. Shameer is by far one of the best tutors I've encountered. He's intelligent, well spoken and organized. His method of instruction is detailed, efficient, and well presented. He makes good use of WyzAnts tools so that I have legible notes on the material covered to review later. He's also communicative, attentive, and flexible on scheduling. All around excellent tutor!

A Plus tutor for Stats.

He was very patient in explaining AP stats. He made sure she understood how to solve each problem. Thankfully she was able to complete question #6 on her own.
