Hello, I am Carlene I hold GA Educator Certification in Elementary Education, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education (grades K-6). I also hold an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts Social -Science.

My goals are to provide and facilitate tutoring sessions that are engaging, boost understanding of concepts, and improve learning skills. Furthermore, raise the achievement of students and help them reach their academic goals.

For over seven years I have had a successful track record, providing academic support to students in diverse areas of tutoring, supplemental educational services programs, in home one-on-one tutoring, and small group tutoring. I have expertise tutoring in the core subjects of Math and English Language Arts in (grades K-6) and Middle School Math.

During my years as a tutor through Supplemental Educational Services Programs, I have tutored students who were home bound due to physical illnesses, tutored at risk students at schools, and provided one-on-one in-home tutoring to students at risk for retention. In my most recent tutoring position, I was the lead English Language Arts tutor at a learning center where I provided small group tutoring .

My objectives for tutoring is to provide optimal academic support for my student/s, exercising patience, establishing a professional rapport with my student/s and parent/s. I want to be the best tutor fit for the student/s I render tutoring service s for. Therefore, I am open to input and learning materials from the student and parent/s. Lessons will be adapted to fit the students’ learning style.
