Here are the courses I tutored students in. I am an expert in world history and the regional history of the world. One of the expert courses I taught was HIS 306K Introduction to the Middle East. I went over the history of the Middle East from Antiquities to the pre-modern era, namely from Sumerian civilization to the Colonial Middle East world. The second course I had expertise in was EAS103H1 Premodern East Asia - From this course, the students had a chance to explore the similarities and differences of East Asian civilizations and how they converge and diverge at various times in aspects of cultural, political, and humanities.
I hold a JD, a MA in economics, and BA Econ PoliSci double majors. I hope my expertise in the social science area could bolster students’ cross-sectional understanding.
