Bio

Teaching is one of my greatest joys, if not my passion. I have been working in the field for the past 5 years, as full time, and almost 10 years as secondary job, working with students of various age groups, backgrounds and different difficulties

Through teaching I am able to see the joy of knowledge and understanding, helping my students getting over the problems every day, and often in new ways. Nothing is more rewarding to me than that moment when my student finally grasps the concepts and we are able to overcome the difficulties, and run into new conclusions and applications.

Being born and raised in the Middle East, I am bilingual in Arabic and Armenian, and fluent in English, along with my background of education (Bachelors in Applied Chemistry) and experience (Chemistry teacher in Choueifat International School (SABIS), teaching in both English and Arabic languages.

I have attended several educational seminars which prepared me to better deal with students of different ethnicities and studying difficulties.

I am also professional piano player, graduated from the Higher Institute of Music in Syria, participated in many local concerts and festivals. I have used my skills in teaching beginners, starting from reading musical notes, up to playing moderate piano pieces, and above all helping them to love and feel the music.

I am supportive and encouraging, patient and highly organized person, with abilities to put people at ease, but not less demanding and solid, with good background in multiculturalism and diversity.

I will do my best to adjust to each of my student's needs and capacities, bring active lesson plans with suitable educational methods, creating a positive and productive learning environment.
