My name is Colin and I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of New Jersey with a degree in history and secondary education. I currently am teaching at a local NJ high school, while working on my master's degree in urban education. I have extensive experience and knowledge in a variety of historical topics including American and European history, 18th century - modern-day warfare, government and politics, and geography. I also provide improvement of writing skills both historical and general, as I am a certified Wilson Literacy Specialist.

I have tutored throughout my educational career, ranging between middle schoolers and fellow college classmates. My goal as your tutor is to make you question the historical "why". Events in history always have a reason, and understanding that reason is the backbone of any great historian. History in no way is an easy subject, improving your writing skills along with your historical mindset will benefit you as a learner.
