I'm Krishi! I will be graduating from Drexel University this March with a 4.0 GPA and a degree in biological sciences. I will then be starting medical school in August, after having achieved a 519 MCAT score (97th percentile)! Throughout the grueling math and science courses in high school and then undergrad, I realized that learning was so much more enjoyable when the professors and teachers shared that passion and passed it on to their students. As a result of this, I started tutoring high school students in chemistry, biology, and math, so that I could impart my own love and passion for learning to others. My priorities, as a tutor, are personalized help, interactive and enjoyable activities to learn the content, and unlimited opportunities (outside of class and in class) to ask as many questions!
My tutoring experience, thus far, includes working with high school students for 5 years one-on-one, along with 1 year of specialized experience in MCAT tutoring in conjunction with a third-party test-prep company! Over this time, I have helped close to 30 students achieve their academic goals, both through in-person and virtual teaching methods. Here, at Wyzant, I will be offering tutoring in high school level and undergraduate level biology and chemistry courses. With a 519 MCAT score (Chem/Phys: 132, CARS: 127, Bio/Biochem: 130, and Psych/Soc: 130), I will also be offering tutoring for the MCAT sciences section, with a focus on mastering content and practicing on critical thinking and passage analysis skills!
I truly cannot wait to work with you and address your specific academic needs!
