Algebra 1,

Algebra 1

I tutored all levels of math from pre-credit algebra through calculus, differential equations and linear algebra for over two years at a community college. As a math major, I use algebra in almost every course I take. I am very proficient in this subject.
Calculus,

Calculus

When I tutored for a community college, I specialized in the calculus sequence of courses. I passed all three with nearly perfect scores. I have more than two years of experience tutoring calculus.
Chemistry,

Chemistry

I have passed two general chemistry courses and one organic chemistry course. I was also a volunteer chemistry and physics tutor for the American Chemical Society for two years. I am very comfortable with this subject and I have spent many hours explaining related concepts to students.
Geometry,

Geometry

Geometry was part of our pre-credit courses. I am proficient in this subject.
Physics,

Physics

I passed a three-course physics sequence at my previous institution and am currently taking special relativity at UIUC. I'm also minoring in physics. I have done some tutoring for both calculus-based and non-calculus-based physics.
Precalculus,

Precalculus

This was the first math course I took at my previous school, and the one I tutored the longest. Since calculus was my specialty, precalc was a necessity and I an highly proficient.

Great at Explaining

He guides you through it but he leaves it up to you to do the work. If you get stuck he will help you. I really learned what I needed to that way. He was also very nice and finished a problem we were working on even when time was up.
