My name is Deb. I have 23 years of classroom teaching experience. I have a Masters in Instructional Design with technology. I also love science and have an extensive college background in biology. I am an excellent user of the English language, write and communicate very well which gives me the ability to tutor in this area as well. I have many teaching tools, such as hands-on activities, diagramming, questioning, and working backwards which allow me to be versatile as a tutor.

My name is Deb. I have 23 years of classroom teaching experience. I have a Masters in Instructional Design with technology. I also love science and have an extensive college background in biology. I am an excellent user of the English language, write and communicate very well which gives me the ability to tutor in this area as well. I have many teaching tools, such as hands-on activities, diagramming, questioning, and working backwards which allow me to be versatile as a tutor.
I have tutored privately for at least 10 years and have tutored several students all throughout their high school experiences. I am technology savvy, am willing to learn or explore the tools that work best for you, and will work as hard as you do. I think of myself as a team member when teaching or tutoring. Our work together is the key to your success.
I love learning, and because I do, I am excited to help you find success in learning. I am a kind, perceptive person. I want to support, facilitate and show you, my student, how to master the ideas you are desiring to truly learn. I am patient and have a great sense of humor, which makes the process fun! I can ask questions to help you find solutions to problems and I will answer questions when you ask. We will take as much time as you need, we will do and redo ideas until they make sense to you. I will be truthful because honesty is a priority. I want you to trust me and what I know as well trusting what you know.

Very patient tutor.

Our 5th grade daughter started math tutoring lessons with Ms Deb. Our daughter reports she enjoys the lessons and is starting to have a better understanding on her current math unit she is working at school. Highly recommend Ms Deb. She reviews the HW we sent to her from prior day and it has been helping our daughter.

Deb is an awesome math tutor. My daughter has been feeling a little overwhelmed after being sick, missing some school and just being very busy.
