Rita's been an outstanding tutor for me over the last 3 months and 24 lessons. She's patient and attentive, and her analytical background fits well with my structured style of learning. She started our first lesson with a singular focus on understanding what my goals were and what success looked like, and compared to other tutors I genuinely felt heard. Beyond my initial ask that she help me learn to play a specific piece, she helped cultivate in me an appreciation for piano that led me to want to learn new pieces, learn more about music theory, and learn more about the history of classical music. Lastly, she's easy to connect with, making lessons as friendly and enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend her for any adult wanting to learn to play the piano.
