Bio

My love for teaching stems from a lifelong yearning to make a difference in every child's life. I have spent many hours learning new things in college that has set me up for a life time full of ways to teach children the values of life through everyday subjects. I have spent my college career in many different schools with numerous types of learning needs.

I spend much of my free time reading, and I have learned the importance teaching children how to read.

I have studied Common Core, and taught in Pennsylvania and Florida by using all Common Core curricula.

I am certified in teaching elementary education.

I have taken many phonics tests to insure that I am up to par.

I am qualified to teach students with ADD/ADHD, because I have completed my Bachelors degree in Special Education. I have also worked with several students who were diagnosed with ADD/ADHD during my teaching career. I believe that students with ADD/ADHD need someone with patience, and they need frequent breaks to stay on task.
