Hi, I'm Trushar. I've graduated from magna cum laude with Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Physics from the University of North Georgia. I have also further received additional graduate training in nursing studies with an MSN degree from Marquette University. During my undergraduate and graduate school, I tutored several students to ensure their success and growth. Some of the areas which I tutored included gross anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and general biology. I believe that teaching is not just delivering the knowledge, but ensuring the recipient is able to fully understand, utilize, and apply the knowledge in future practice. Two of the ways I ensure my students understand the materials are actively involving students in learning plan and evaluating their progress through teach-back. Hence, my lessons and approach to teaching involve empowering students by making the topic interesting and relating to the students' experiences to ensure long-term retention.

I have received a recommendation from my college about tutoring and the impact it had on student growth. I believe that every student is different and learns in different ways; hence, my lesson plan incorporates the best way to deliver the instruction to the student and present material at their level to ensure success. Each subject matter will require a different approach but the ultimate goal will be students' growth, advancement, and progress.

I have received graduate-level education and training in sciences and in addition, I have undertaken several teaching classes during my undergraduate years. This allows me to utilize my knowledge and deliver it in the right circumstances and the right environment to ensure growth and success. To me, teaching is not science but an art that is individualized to each student's needs.
