Hello! My enthusiasm for teaching and tutoring comes from the simple motto that there is nothing you can't do if you sincerely try. I hold my students to a high standard in class and I expect the same from everyone that I teach. I have had students who had low self-esteem and poor grades completely turn their schooling experience around and outperform some of my high-achievers. Hello! My enthusiasm for teaching and tutoring comes from the simple motto that there is nothing you can't do if you sincerely try. I was a public school teacher in Charlotte where I taught Middle and High School Math and Science. I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Chemistry and Secondary Education as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. I followed that path and completed my Masters of Education in Instructional Design.

Due to my college degree, I have a firm grasp of math subjects up through the Calculus level as well as all middle and high school science courses. I am also well versed in most college chemistry classes, as well as basic college biology and physics.

"A" is for Awesome Alexander

After my son's last session he stated "He is the best tutor I've had, he's fun and I like him" Our son is dyslexic. Alexander gives him the time and patience he needs to understand the math problems he's working on. He has always enjoyed math but 6th grade math was becoming more challenging. He is more confident about now! Well the proof is in the pudding and so far our son has a "97" in math, the last 2 quarters he has maintained an 87.
