I have been a science instructor for 28 years and have exceptional people skills and decision making skills. I have a strong work ethic, professional demeanor and great initiative. I have taught using mastery learning and project-based learning as well as traditional classroom delivery. My specialty is curriculum development. My differentiated teaching techniques produce greater student achievement.

The thing I love most about tutoring is that "aha" moment when students, who have struggled in the past, have that moment when it suddenly "clicks" and they have waves of understanding.

I have actively taught chemistry in a classroom setting for the past 10 years. I understand the struggles that students have and know the "tricks" to remembering and understanding chemistry.
